Church Center Basics


Church Center is the tool we use for communication, our directory, giving, event management, Sunday morning kids’ check ins, coordinating our service teams…the list goes on and on! It’s an important tool we use to keeping things running around here. Below are some of the basics – how to set up and navigate within Church Center. Church Center is typically accessed as a mobile app, but can also be accessed via a web browser on a computer.

Step 1: Download and Install the Church Center App
Search your app store for “Church Center” or Click here to download and install the app.
Following the prompts, allow Church Center to find your church, then select Creekside, and click Log In to set up your profile.
Enter your phone number, then you’ll be texted a login code and will be prompted to set up a password.
You’re in! From this point on, you should be logged in and you won’t need to go through these steps again.

Step 2: Set Up Your Profile
a) Click on your initials in the top right corner of the website or app to view/edit your account page. Then click on your profile photo at the top of the page to edit your profile. Don’t forget your photo! Click “Update” at the top right when you’re done.
b) To update your household information, from the account page, click on the photos or initials under “Household”. It will take you to a listing of your household members. Click on each member to update their information. Make sure to click “Update” at the top right when you’re done.
Note: if you need to add or remove someone from your household, email us. We’ll handle that on our end.

Step 3: Access and Join the Directory
In order to access the directory in Church Center, you must first be invited by the staff. This is one of the ways we ensure that the directory is limited to only those who are active participants in the life of the church. You can request an invite by clicking “Join Directory” on the home page, and, once approved, we will send you an invitation via email.
Once you receive the email, follow the steps indicated to log in to Church Center. Even though you have access to the directory at this point, you’re still not visible until you choose what to share. To do so, click on your photo or initials in the top right corner of the home page, then click “My profile & settings”, then “Directory profile”. Here you can choose what information you want to share with others in the directory by checking the boxes next to your personal and household information. We ask that you at least share a profile photo, household photo, email address, and phone number.
When you’re done, click the “Update” button to save your settings and update the church directory.

Using the Church Center App
Most features are found using the bottom navigation menu bar (Calendar, Check-Ins for kids on Sundays, Directory, etc.)

Another key page is the Account page (accessed by clicking the photo or initials at the top-right of the home page). Here you can view/update your profile and household information, choose what to share in the directory, view your giving history and update your payment information, check out the services you are volunteering for, and more.
