Tenebrae Service

We’ll gather to remember Christ’s suffering through a traditional Tenebrae service. The gradual extinguishing of light will help us meditate on the weight of the sacrificial death of our God on a cross, as well as our own sinfulness and the darkness of the world around us.  As we reflect on the eternal drama of this momentous event, our hearts will be prepared for Easter dawn, which will be a celebration all the more joyous when we comprehend what the resurrection has accomplished.
