Let’s gather to remember and proclaim the True Light coming into the world. We’ll worship together with song and scripture. Note: This is a service for the whole family. We have some electric “candles” for our 2-3 year-olds who would like to participate in the candle lighting at the end of the service. Please wait until the light is passed to you to turn these on.

MYU is hosting the 5th annual Fugitive Night on Friday, Dec. 6th at Calvary Chapel here in McMinnville. This free event is for middle school/high school students and includes a fun & competitive game of flashlight tag through the woods behind Calvary. This event is hosted by the youth leaders and pastors of MYU and will include students from multiple different youth groups in Yamhill County. Come decorate the church building for the Christmas season, and eat some pizza with us! We’ll meet on Tuesday, November 26th at 5:30pm for pizza and Christmas cheer while we decorate together. Feel free to bring along any little helpers that are big enough to contribute to the effort. It’s important that you let us know you’re coming so we have enough pizza! 

Join us for an opportunity to participate in our Rally Cry for this year. We are to be faithfully present in the world as we represent Jesus, and to lovingly respond to the brokenness of the world with good works. On November 10th and 17th we’ve invited several local organizations that do good in and for the city we live in to join us on Sunday morning. It’s been a few years since we’ve had a “Soup & Bread” gathering (our rendition of a potluck), but we’ve found the perfect context for it – right before a night of prayer and worship together! We’ve been hoping to offer more opportunities to gather to pray as a church, and we’re making it happen. On Friday, November 8th, bring a pot of soup or a loaf of bread to share at 5:30pm.
