Essentials Class is a great opportunity for those who want to learn more about Creekside or who are interested in membership. If you’re new to Creekside, or if you’ve been around for years but have never been through the class, please join us. We’ll meet for 7 weeks on Sunday mornings before the service, starting on February 5th. Together we’ll learn how the Gospel impacts our ministry, life, and community. We will be staying two nights at beautiful Cannon Beach. We are excited to welcome the amazing Dawn Harcus this year as our speaker! Dawn has served alongside her husband, Tom, in ministry for nearly four decades. She is the mother of two grown children. Her passions include investing in women, reading (especially biographies!), being active, long coffee dates with her husband, and doing girly things with her daughter. We will host our annual Family Health Meeting on Sunday, January 22nd at 5pm at the building. Please make it a priority to join us as we reflect on 2022 and look forward to 2021. Parents, childcare is provided, but please register your kids so we can adequately prepare to care for them that evening. (If you’re not a parent who will be utilizing childcare, no need to RSVP. On January 10th we’ll be kicking off a new study together: Tara-Leigh Cobble’s “He’s Where the Joy Is,” a study on the doctrine of the Trinity. We’ll meet on Tuesdays, offering both morning at evening studies. The morning study is held at 9:30am at the church building, while the evening study is held at 7:00pm in a private home (register for details).
