A gathering of 6th-12th graders for Christian friendship and mentorship to grow within a gender and age-specific small group setting. Growth Groups occur on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month after our Sunday morning services from 11:45am-1:30pm and are led by two adult leaders of the same gender. We’ll gather to remember Christ’s suffering through a traditional Tenebrae service. The gradual extinguishing of light will help us meditate on the weight of the sacrificial death of our God on a cross, as well as our own sinfulness and the darkness of the world around us.  As we reflect on the eternal drama of this momentous event, our hearts will be prepared for Easter dawn, which will be a celebration all the more joyous when we comprehend what the resurrection has accomplished. The youth ministry is hosting a dessert auction fundraiser after our Sunday gathering on June 11th. Delicious desserts will be sold to raise money for the youth ministry’s summer trip. The desserts will be baked with care by students in the youth ministry, along with other talented bakers from our church family. After the auction, the youth will be serving lunch to everyone. Please join us!

Let’s gather to remember and proclaim the True Light coming into the world. We’ll worship together with song and scripture. Note: This is a service for the whole family. We have some electric “candles” for our 2-3 year-olds who would like to participate in the candle lighting at the end of the service. Please wait until the light is passed to you to turn these on.

At 10am, in lieu of our typical gathering, the kids of Creekside will retell the Christmas story of the promised Immanuel – God With Us! The program will be about 45 minutes long, and will be followed by light refreshments and connection in the Great Room. Please note that this is a service for the whole family – Nursery and Sunday School will not be open.
