Youth

Creekside’s youth ministry exists to…

  • lead students to Jesus and a life of following Him.
  • support parents as they raise their children to love and follow Jesus.
  • build a community centered on Christ and the Scriptures.
  • see students participating in the life & mission of the local church.

We have two regular gathering times as a youth group.

GROWTH GROUPS

A gathering of 6th-12th graders for Christian friendship and mentorship to grow within a gender and age-specific small group setting. Growth Groups occur on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month after our Sunday morning services from 11:45am-1:30pm and are led by two adult leaders of the same gender. A typical Growth Group gathering includes a whole group game to kick things off downstairs and then splitting into small groups for conversations around a provided lunch, reflecting on that Sunday’s sermon passage, and prayer.

STUDENT NIGHTS

A gathering of 6th-12th graders that welcomes new students as our youth group gets together to have some fun & direct our hearts to Jesus. We play games, have student-led worship, and spend time in the Word. Student Nights occur on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at the Creekside building from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

Our youth group also breaks from the normal rhythms of life and goes on retreats and trips as a group.

Getting away together and having intentional time with the Lord and as a group is so important. Whether it is a weekend retreat during the school year or a camping trip in the summer, our goal is to use this time away to grow closer to Jesus and grow closer to one another.
